These are simple yet beautiful Oharihako original okobo (pokkuri) clogs, crafted by Oharihako in Nishijin, Kyoto, featuring black lacquered bases and pure silk thongs.

Their sleek design elegantly enhances formal wear. The bases are made of paulownia wood coated with cashew lacquer, the thongs are made of pure silk kanoko shibori, and the toe thongs and undersides are made of pure silk velvet. As you walk, they produce a charming "pokkuri-pokkuri" sound.

These are special occasion footwear for young girls aged three to five, with each pair featuring a unique lacquered finish.

【Care Instructions】
If exposed to rain, the red color of the toe thong may transfer to tabi socks. The lacquer or makie design may chip off if the geta rub against each other or during walking.
It is recommended that okobo clogs have a slight space at the heel. They are suitable for feet 1cm to 2.5cm smaller than the actual measurements.
