A single petal, beautiful.
For over 10 years, Hari-bako has taught tsumami zaiku to more than 300 students in Kyoto and Tokyo.
You will learn tsumami zaiku using habutai silk, preserving traditional techniques while also adapting them to modern life.
Three classrooms to choose from, depending on your needs

Kyoto Classroom
The Kyoto classroom is located in a 110-year-old townhouse facing a garden blooming with seasonal flowers. You can see Oharihako's works and be surrounded by a source of inspiration for craftsmanship.

Tokyo classroom
Easily accessible, a 5-minute walk from Ningyocho Station and Kodemmacho Station. Our classes are held in the showroom of a long-established kimono wholesaler located on Orimono-dori (Textile Street). It is a convenient classroom for those commuting from the Kanto region.

Zoom classroom
This is a real-time online classroom where you can attend from anywhere in the world, featuring interactive Zoom sessions, archives viewable for 1.5 years, and high-quality video and audio thanks to top-of-the-line equipment.
