Silk straps are attached to a black lacquered base. This simple and beautiful original okobo (pokkuri) is crafted by Oharibako in Nishijin, Kyoto.

Its sleek appearance elegantly enhances the feet in formal wear. The base is made of paulownia wood coated with cashew lacquer, the straps are made of genuine silk kanoko shibori, and the thongs and lining are made of genuine silk hon-ten. With every step, it makes an adorable "pokkuri pokkuri" sound.

[Care Instructions]
If exposed to rain, the red color of the thongs may transfer to tabi socks. The lacquer or maki-e may chip off if the geta rub against each other or during walking.
It is recommended that okobo have a slight space at the heel. They are suitable for feet 1cm to 2.5cm shorter than the actual measurement.
