The key to this nadeshiko is that it is entirely made with tsuru-tsumami (pointed folding technique).
Since the petals are made by folding four tsuru-tsumami pieces at once, it is important to carefully shape each piece.
For the graded dyeing, fabric paints that do not require steaming or fixing will be used to dye the finished petals.
In this workshop, you will learn...
☆ How to attach multiple tsuru-tsumami pieces in a small area
☆ Graded dyeing techniques using fabric paints
☆ How to add an angle to the base
Why not take this opportunity to try your hand at tsumami zaiku for the summer flower, nadeshiko?
