Tsumami Zaiku Fundamentals Workshop @ Kyoto Daitoku-ji Main Store

〈Tsumami Zaiku Fundamental Skills Intensive Course to be held for the first time in Kyoto!〉

The "Tsumami" (pinching) fundamentals of the tsumami zaiku process are thoroughly taught in

the [Oharibako Tsumami Zaiku Class - Beginner Course (6 sessions total, held twice a year)].

This course is a condensed, one-day event for those who want to review the Beginner Course or

those who live far away and cannot attend regularly:

〈Tsumami Zaiku Fundamental Skills Intensive Course〉

Previously, when held for the general public (not for existing students),

it was held twice in Tokyo and once in Fukuoka, and

all sessions were fully booked, making it a popular course.

We will teach you the know-how that our craftsmen have cultivated over many years

to master the pinching technique and achieve "beautiful and fast" results.

This time, it will be held in Kyoto for the first time

for the general public!

Instructor: Hidemasa Kitai

"In the Fundamental Skills Intensive Course, I will teach three types of maru-tsumami (round pinching) and four types of kaku-tsumami (pointed pinching).

This course is not about creating something, but about acquiring skills.

I will generously share techniques unique to craftsmen!

Both experienced individuals who want to review their tsumami zaiku fundamentals and

beginners who want to solidify their basics are welcome!

We look forward to seeing you!

In the workshop section in the latter half, based on the techniques acquired in the Fundamental Skills Intensive Course,

we will try to make an original han-kusu (half-kusudama).

Challenge yourself to create your own cute han-kusu!

Pinching many times with the correct method is the shortest path to improvement!

We will deliver a condensed content that is rarely offered elsewhere.

This time, it will be held at our physical store for the first time.

Let's pinch together while gazing at the lush green garden that I love so much!"
