"Making homemade miso together at OHARIBAKO's Hanare"

# Everyone Makes Homemade Miso at Oharibako Hanare

Everyone makes homemade miso at Oharibako Hanare.

Last year, our staff experienced making miso,

and the homemade miso that was ready in autumn

was so delicious, unlike anything they had ever tasted,

that they thought, "We must share this with everyone!"

and "Our new shop has Hanare!"

So we decided to hold this event!

Let's all make miso using Kyoto soybeans.

The process is simple.

But the flavor is uniquely yours and very delicious.

This is the "Making Our Own Homemade Miso" workshop.

Date: Saturday, February 25th, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: Oharibako Hanare

Fee: See below

《Carefully Selected Kyoto Ingredients》

Using soybeans and rice grown with the clean water and air of Keihoku, a Kyoto satoyama,

we will prepare a luxurious white miso (※) with plenty of rice koji.

It has an exceptional flavor.

The koji used is rice koji prepared by the instructor themselves, ensuring safe and secure ingredients.

Add your own resident microorganisms during the manual preparation process. Let's make a truly unique homemade miso!

For this workshop, specifically,

the instructor, Ms. Hoshino, will finish the koji just before the event.

This is Ms. Hoshino's original secret recipe,

packed with various things you can't do at home.

※White miso... A sweet miso using a lot of koji.

Perfect for miso soup, of course, and also for cooking!

Miso is ready after it matures through the summer. It's also excellent in hot pot dishes.
