As it is a shrine, the venue is an outdoor, open-air space.
While we would be delighted for you to come and see the dedication festival,
please take your own precautions and attend at your own risk.
As of today,
a total of 615 people from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, and from London overseas,
*Youngest participant: 2 years 5 months old, Oldest participant: 92 years old
and a total of 4071 flowers
have been contributed.
The diameter of the kusudama is 1m,
and its total length will exceed 3m!
A kusudama of an unprecedented scale and size will be created.
Perhaps it will be a Guinness World Record?! (We have not applied for it yet)
*Additional applications are being accepted until July 10th.
For the production of the circular base,
we have Mr. Kazuyuki Suzuki from Toei Kyoto Studio's Art Department, Special Effects Team,
(Recipient of the 30th Japan Academy Film Prize, Special Award from the Association / Film Art Special Effects)
and for the provision of the fragrant sachets to be attached to the streamers, we were approached by
Shoyeido Inc., a long-established incense company.
With everyone's cooperation, production is underway towards completion.
This is an amulet kusudama that has grown large with everyone's thoughts.
Thank you for your continued support until the dedication.
