Did you know there's a geta shop that handles everything from cutting Aizu paulownia wood from the mountains, shaping it into geta bases, to attaching thongs that fit the customer's feet?
This is "Geta-bako," a geta fitting event featuring "Kurosawa Kirizai-ten," which is being held for the 22nd time.
Not only can you custom-order new geta, but repairs to your existing geta, replacement or adjustment of thongs are also
OK
.
We especially want those who have never worn geta to enjoy them.
It's a geta shop where you can see the artisan's face.
We look forward to seeing you with stylish geta you've never seen before!
Of course, it's enjoyable for people who wear kimonos and yukata, as well as those who prefer Western clothes and don't wear them.
