## Apology and Announcement to Customers Who Purchased Tweezers After October 20, 2021

Thank you for your continued patronage of [Oharibako Rakuten Ichiba Store].
We have discovered that some units of our "Tweezers (Product Number: z0-231)" exhibit significant variations in product precision.
Therefore, if you experience any discomfort during use with products shipped on or after October 20, 2021, we will replace them free of charge.
Customers affected, please contact us.
For orders placed through Rakuten Ichiba Store: Please contact us via Rakuten inquiry or email, including your "Customer Name and Order Number."
For purchases made at a physical store: Please present your receipt or any document that confirms your purchase when you contact us.
In the case of an exchange, we will include packaging materials for return shipping with our replacement shipment, so there is no need to send back the item in advance.
*There are no issues with "Tweezers S (Product Number: z0-232)."

After discussions with the manufacturer, we have prepared approximately 50 units for resale.
These resale units are tweezers (Product Number: z0-231)** that we sell, which have been readjusted one by one by craftsmen at the factory.
If we were to continue this process in the future, the price would become very high, so this adjustment will be a one-time measure.
Once these limited resale units are sold out, the tweezers will be produced using the standard process.
However, the manufacturer is currently reviewing the molds, and the sales period is yet to be determined.
We sincerely apologize for the long wait and for this being a provisional solution.
We hope this will lead to a better outcome, and we are working together to address this issue.

## Problems and Background of "Tweezers (Product Number: z0-231)"
Upon receiving feedback from customers and conducting an inspection,
we confirmed that some tweezers had manufacturing issues due to a shortage of metal in Japan, resulting in variations in thickness and curvature compared to standard products.
We confirmed the problem on December 15, 2021, halted shipments, and reported the issue on our website and Rakuten Ichiba's top page.
The difference is less than 1mm in actual size, and both the manufacturer and our company recognize that the error is not significant enough to be considered a "defective product."
However, we have decided to offer free exchanges for those who experience a sense of discomfort when gripping.
Tweezers are finished by hand by skilled craftsmen at the manufacturer, leading to individual differences.
Also, not all tweezers shipped during the affected period had problems.
We kindly ask for your discretion in determining if your product is affected.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
